Ancient menorah ring
$330.00Gold Ancient Menorah Ring
Metal: Choose from solid 18k gold or solid 14k gold.
Inspired after jewelry found from during the period of the First Temple in Jerusalem, this ring with a menorah (candelabra) is an ancient symbol of Jewish ritual practice. In days of old, the western lamp of the candelabra burned constantly.
The use of a Menorah, or candelabra during the First Temple period in ancient Israel holds great historical and religious significance for Jews. The First Temple, also known as Solomon’s Temple, was constructed in Jerusalem in the 10th century BCE and stood as a central place of worship until its destruction by the Babylonians in 586 BCE.
The candelabra is engraved inside the gold. For more Jewish prayer and ritual jewelry, see our shema yisrael prayer ring.
